What is the 2023 Ram 1500 Havoc Edition

Ram introduced the Rebel to the Ram 1500 lineup in 2016, giving drivers a more rugged option. The Rebel has been refined over the years since its introduction to be the most capable and stylish truck it can be, but its purpose has remained the same. In 2023, the Ram 1500 Rebel has a seemingly endless list of standard features. The Rebel comes equipped with standard 4x4, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires, an off-road-tuned suspension, underbody skid plates, a one-inch factory lift, an electronic locking rear axle, LED fog lights, and tow hooks. Additionally, Selec-Speed is now standard for the Rebel in 2023. The Selec-Speed system is in place to allow drivers to set a speed between 0.6 and 5 MPH while off-roading to give the truck control of the throttle and brake, so steering and maneuvering the terrain has the driver's full attention. After refining the Rebel into the model it is today, Ram is taking it one step further with the Havoc Edition.

The Ram 1500 TRX joined the lineup in 2021, bursting on the scene as the industry's fastest, most powerful production truck. Underneath the hood of the TRX is a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 engine, first only exclusively found in the Dodge Hellcat models. The engine gives the TRX a heart-pounding 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque for a top speed of 118 MPH. Meanwhile, the launch control feature helps the TRX achieve a 4.5-second 0-60 time. While it sure is fast, it's designed for the trails. Featuring 11.8 inches of ground clearance, custom-built gas-charged Bilstein shock absorbers, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires, standard 4x4, underbody skid plates, tow hooks, and more, the TRX is built for anything but the paved roads. The shock absorbers were built specifically for the TRX, featuring remote reservoirs to open up more space for suspension travel. This allows 13 inches of suspension travel in the front and 14 inches in the rear. To prevent the truck from bottoming out, a secondary piston engages as the shocks reach full compression.

The Havoc Edition gives drivers more unique features and personal flare directly from the factory. Both the Rebel and TRX are good-looking trucks on their own, but the Havoc Edition takes it to the next level. Outside, the Havoc features an exclusive Baja Yellow paint job that draws the eyes in. The yellow paint is contrasted by black accents on the badges, grille, and wheels. Meanwhile, both models feature a black vinyl graphic on the rear fenders and hood, stating their model names. Inside, the Havoc Edition adds an eclectic mix of carbon fiber and yellow accents. Meanwhile, the focal point of the center stack is the tablet-style 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen atop the center stack. In addition to the wide range of advanced infotainment technologies, the touchscreen also features Off-Road Pages. These show you important off-roading information like pitch and roll, steering angle, vehicle dynamics, axle locking, and more. The Ram 1500 Level 2 Equipment Group is standard for the Havoc Editions, adding power-folding side mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote engine start, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, front/rear park assist with active braking, and a 115-volt rear seat outlet.
