For the last ten years, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has managed to keep things fresh thanks to an eclectic mix of features. In 2020, the Grand Cherokee continues to keep things fresh with all the latest driver safety aids and a sharp-looking infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Inside also has an easy to use console as well. Under the hood, Jeep offers a standard V6 engine and three V8 options. The V8 options top out with a 6.2-liter version for the Trailhawk that pumps out 707 horsepower. Laredo and Limited
Highlights for the Laredo include a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque that connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Features include rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Limited up the ante with an optional 5.7-liter V8 making 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque as well as a remote start, a power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, and leather upholstery. There is also a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen and power-adjustable seats.
Trailhawk
The Trailhawk specializes in off-roading and has a ton of features dedicated to it. These include off-road tires, four-wheel-drive with low-range gearing, and an electronic rear differential that works with a terrain-selectable traction control system. You also get an adjustable air suspension, underbody skid plates, and a unique exterior styling.
Overland and Summit
The Overland trim forgoes some of the Trailhawks off-road features but is similarly equipped. For the most luxury features, the Summit has you covered with a self-parking system, active noise-canceling technology, upgraded leather upholstery, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, and several a ton of advanced safety features.
SRT
With the SRT comes a high-horsepower engine in the form of a 6.4-liter V8 that provides 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque that comes with a specialized all-wheel-drive system tuned for high-performance driving. As for features, the SRT comes with summer performance tires, an adaptive sport-tuned suspension, sport-tuned steering and brakes, a sport body kit, a limited-slip rear differential, and selectable performance modes.
Trackhawk
Finally, there's the top=level Trackhawk, which comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that pumps out an impressive 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque connected to an upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission. You also get an upgraded adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes, and lightweight 20-inch wheels with high-performance tires.
