
Jeep offers the 2019 Compass in four different trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. All 2019 Jeep Compass's come standard with a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine producing 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The Compass is either available with front-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive. The Sport and 4WD Latitude models can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Limited and Trailhawk models come equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Compass can tow up to 2,000 pounds when equipped with four-wheel-drive.
Sport:
The base model Compass Sport comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, a USB port, Bluetooth, air conditioning, and 16-inch wheels. When the rear seats are folded down there is almost 60 cubic feet of cargo space. When the seats are in place there is 27 cubic feet of cargo space. An available Upland Appearance package upgrades to 17-inch aluminum wheels with gloss black pockets, gloss black accents, silver anodized interior accents, and the Trailhawk's front fascia with matte black tow hooks.
Latitude:
The Latitude model has upgraded cloth and simulated leather seat upholstery, keyless ignition and entry, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The available Altitude Appearance package includes gloss black exterior accents, gloss black roof, piano black interior accents, 18-inch gloss black wheels.
Limited:
Next up is the Limited trim with an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, remote start, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, upgraded exterior trim, 18-inch wheels, upgraded driver information display, two-tone gloss black roof, and an automatic dual-zone climate control. An available High Altitude Appearance package features granite crystal exterior accents, Beats Audio premium sound system, navigation, and 19-inch satin granite aluminum wheels.
Trailhawk:
The off-road oriented Trailhawk comes standard with four-wheel-drive, off-road tires, raised suspension, red tow hooks, a matte-black hood accent, two-tone gloss black roof, under-body skid-plates, and its own Selec-Terrain system featuring a rock mode. The Compass Trailhawk boast best-in-class Trail Rated 4x4 capability thanks to hill-descent control, up to 19-inches of water fording, 30-degree approach angle, 24-degree breakover angle, a 34-degree departure angle, and standard Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 20:1 crawl ratio.
Popular options include navigation, a dual-pane sunroof, a power liftgate, xenon headlights, a premium Beats audio system, a Cold Weather package, and an Advanced Safety package. The Advanced Safety package comes with automatic high beams, forward collision warning and mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning and intervention.
