The Wrangler 4xe is the most capable and eco-friendly SUV on the planet. It takes the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and adds hybrid elements to up the horsepower to 375 while delivering up to 25 miles of pure electric operation. Also, the 2021 Wrangler 4xe is part of the natural evolution of almost 80 years of Jeep capability leadership with all of the Wrangler's Trail Rated running gear such as solid front and rear axles, a full-time 4x4 two-speed transfer case, fully articulating suspension, and 30 inches of water fording capability. These features provide the Wrangler 4xe with new levels of efficiency and environmental responsibility that deliver superior performance and capability on and off the road.

In addition to the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the Wrangler 4xe adds two electric motors, a high-voltage battery pack, and the Torqueflite eight-speed automatic transmission. The torque provided by the electrical motors arrives almost instantly on-demand from the driver. Additionally, the engine also delivers fuel-saving, seamless, start-stop operation from the engine. This is the most advanced powertrain ever developed. It maximizes the Jeep Wrangler's efficiency with an estimated 50 miles per gallon equivalent. Thanks to the 375 horsepower, the Wrangler 4xe can go from 0-60 mph in six seconds or less. All of this adds up to benchmark on and off-road capability that is perfect for the electric vehicle lifestyle.
E Selec
Each trip of the Wrangler 4xe is perfectly tailored to the driver, thanks to the different E Selec mode buttons located on the instrument panel. Hybrid is the default mode and perfectly blends power from the engine and the electric motors. Meanwhile, the electric mode prioritizes the EV operation until the battery has reached a maximum state of charge while saving the battery for later use.
