Everyone loves a clean car. Keeping the interior of your vehicle in good shape is just as important as keeping the exterior looking good. When it comes to trading in your car, the better condition it is, the more you will get for it. If you are not sure of where to go to get your vehicle detailed just ask your local dealership. They will either off those services themselves, or can recommend a place to go. 

Cost of Detailing: The price for auto detailing varies widely and depends on a number of factors, such as your location and the type of car you have and the other being the type of detail service that has been requested. In order to get an idea of how much it costs to have a car detailed, you should read reviews of people who had their car detailed. Their reviews will include the type of car they had, the type of service they had done to the car and the cost of their auto detail. Remember, prices vary in different areas and if you have an SUV or flatbed truck, your cost will be higher than someone with a smaller car. 

Time Taken: It usually takes about four to six hours to complete detail job and usually the appointment needs to be booked but again varying from a huge volume dealing companies to a small one. 

If you want to keep your car in good shape in between professional detailing appointments here are some tips:  

1. Remove all floor mats and vacuum these separately. 

2. When vacuuming the rest of the car, stop up high and work your way down. Make sure to include all seating, trunk space, and any small space you can get your vacuum into. Lastly, thoroughly vacuum all floor space in the car.  

3. Individually clean all seating or carpet stains with upholstery cleaner. You can find products specifically for this at the store. 

4. Use compressed air and detailing brushes to get out dust and dirt from the buttons and crevices on the dash and interior doors. 

5. Wipe all hard surfaces with an all purpose cleaner.

6. Clean interior windows with common glass cleaner.
