About Levittown Pennsylvania

Levittown is a planned community and census-designated place within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It's sometimes referred to as a suburb of Philadelphia. The company Levitt and Sons is responsible for the construction and planning of Levittown, PA-the second planned city that the company would take on after completing Levittown, NY. There were only six kinds of houses built in Levittown, PA, and all of them were designed by Bill Levitt and Alfred Levitt. The six available home styles were the Levittowner, the Colonial, the Pennsylvanian, the Rancher, the Country Clubber, and the Jubilee. The development of all the homes took place from 1952 to 1958 and resulted in 17,311 homes.
