If you're familiar with the Jeep Wrangler, then you probably know it for its exceptional off-road capabilities. The hybrid version is no exception, and there are two dedicated off-road trims to choose from! New for the 2023 model year, the Willys trim is offering features like 32-inch mud-terrain tires, Trac-Lok locking rear differentials, and off-road suspension. There's also the even more robust Rubicon trim, with 33-inch all-terrain tires, off-road rock rails, a front disconnecting sway bar, and more! If you're interested in splashing through the mud, rain, or snow, you can do so with ease in the Wrangler 4xe. Its battery pack is waterproof sealed, and you can even ford up to 31.5 inches of water when properly equipped. For rock crawling, opt for the Rubicon's Rock-Trac 4X4 system with 4:1 low-range gearing to give you the traction you need to take on the trails.

The Wrangler 4xe is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, or PHEV. This means that it gets its power from two different sources, all housed within the same vehicle. The 2023 Wrangler 4xe features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas-powered engine, as well as a set of two electric motors. The motors are powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, which can be recharged whenever it runs low. This powertrain delivers 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, and pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission. When you're behind the wheel of the Wrangler 4xe, you'll be able to choose between three E-Selec drive modes, Electric, Hybrid, and eSave. When driving in Electric Mode, you can travel for up to 21 miles using battery power alone. Hybrid Mode uses both battery power and gas power simultaneously, while eSave mode will use gas power first, letting you save your battery's charge for later.

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe has the same well-known design as a traditional Wrangler, and it comes in four different trim levels for drivers to choose from. All four trim levels feature the four-door Wrangler Unlimited model, and they all come with standard features like removable roof, removable doors, a fold-down windshield, and the three E-Selec drive modes we mentioned above. The Wrangler 4xe lineup also features blue accents inside and out, which hint at its electric power. This includes blue front tow hooks, blue 4xe badges, and blue accent stitching on the interior. The Willys and Rubicon trims both feature hood decals bearing their names, while the Willys also has black wheels. The Sahara features 20-inch wheels, vinyl seats, and an 8.4-inch Uconnect 4 infotainment touchscreen. The High Altitude is the fourth trim level, and it's the most luxurious of all, with Nappa leather-trimmed seats, LED headlights, and more.
