What do the invidual trim levels offer?

The FIAT 124 Spider comes in three trim levels. The Classica is the base trim and comes with standard 16-inch alloy wheels, a dual-tip exhaust, body-color side sills and door handles, black premium cloth seats, black roll bar finish, LED taillights, and halogen lamps. The midtier trim is the Lusso with 17-inch alloy wheels, premium black or saddle leather seats, a leatherette wrapped lower instrument panel with piano black accents, heated seats, a silver roll-bar cover, and dual-tip chrome exhaust. At the top of the line, this convertible has the Abarth trim with an overall sportier look. The Abarth comes with mechanical limited-slip differential, front and rear Bilstein sport suspension, front strut tower bar, sport-tuned chrome quad-tip exhaust, a one of a kind front and rear fascia, a hand-painted hood stripe, and 17-inch wheels. Additional features like Recaro seats and a Brembo braking system can also be added in.

What makes the 124 Spider engine so great?

The FIAT 124 Spider has a 1.4-liter turbocharged MultiAir inline-4 engine. This engine provides that well known FIAT 500 Abarth angry sound. The MultiAir engine provides 160 horsepower with 184 lb-ft of torque. If you choose to pair it with a six-speed manual transmission the EPA calculates that you will get a fuel economy of 26/35 miles per gallon, but if you choose the six-speed automatic transmission the EPA has rated the fuel economy at 25/36 miles per gallon. The manual transmission also allows for slipping the clutch and shorter shifter to provide a faster off-the-line acceleration. The 124 Spider comes with rear-wheel drive, no matter the transmission.

How do I know which safety features are standard?

The FIAT 124 Spider offers multiple security and safety features including, but not limited to, traction control, an engine immobilizer, Uconnect voice command with Bluetooth, blind-spot monitoring, LED adaptive front headlamps, rear cross path detection, and a ParkView rear backup camera. If you are looking for even more safety features the Comfort and Convenience group has rear parking sensors, auto-dimming heated mirrors, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and a universal garage door opener. The Navigation and Sound group adds navigation and the Visibility group adds headlight washers and turn-adaptive LED headlights.
