If road conditions lead to a decrease in handling at all, an Electronic Stability system will work with the Soul's brakes to mitigate over or understeering, and help get you back on track safely. With its 29-percent-stiffer chassis and reworked suspension, this latest-generation Kia Soul is far more graceful than the first-gen model that exited in 2013. | 2015 Jeep Renegade Power & HandlingThe Jeep Renegade will offer a choice of four-cylinder engines: a turbocharged 1.4-liter rated at 160 horsepower or a larger, non-turbo 2.4-liter good for 184 hp. The smaller engine comes with only a six-speed manual transmission, while the 2.4-liter pairs with a nine-speed automatic, similar to that on the Jeep Cherokee. Base models will be front-wheel drive, but full-time 4x4 will be available on all models. The Renegade's Traction Control system uses sensors to detect when any tire suffers a loss of traction, and will alter the vehicle's power and handling so as to assist the driver with regaining control.
