Used 2013 Dodge Durango near Philadelphia
The 2013 Dodge Durango is simply a very cool SUV. It comfortably seats seven passengers and can be treated like an SUV or driven around town to the grocery store or down to the school to pick up your kids. The Durango comes with standard rear-wheel drive or optional four-wheel drive. The base engine on this full-size SUV is the Pentastar V-6, which produces 290 horsepower. The step up from there is a V-8, 5.7-liter HEMI that pushes out 360 horsepower. Some of the available features in the Durango are the Electronic Stability Control system, Garmin navigation, HID headlights, rear entertainment system, leather seats and a tow package. The Durango delivers comfort, power, huge cargo space and reliability.Â

Driving the 2013 Dodge Durango
The performance of the Durango is not disappointing. It handles just the way it looks: aggressive and full of muscle. Handling also depends on whether you choose a model with a six-cylinder or an eight-cylinder engine. It also is going to be slightly different if you get the rear-wheel drive or the all wheel drive version. Any way you go you're going to have an SUV that handles well and is responsive to your every command. The eight-cylinder will just noticeably get you somewhere faster and the four-wheel drive will really only be needed on rough terrain or weathered conditions. Once you get behind the wheel of a Durango, you feel like you've mastered something big and strong. Driving it is a pleasure because of all of its natural comforts and quick response. Steering is easily controlled and quick to respond. Â Â
Design of the 2013 Dodge Durango
There's a lot on the Durango that people seem to take for granted. The seats are large enough to give plenty of comfort to all of the passengers. The digital entertainment system is user-friendly, and each row of seats, including the front, has ample legroom and plenty of headroom. The second and third row of seats easily fold down to create a great deal of usable storage space. The Durango offers a lot of safety features in this year's design. Traction control and stability control help the car maintain a steadiness while on the road. Antilock disc brakes, front-side airbags and cross-path warning system are just a few. The Durango scored very high in rollover, side impact and frontal crash protection tests by the government.Â
Conclusions
The Durango is related to the Mercedes Benz and it shows. (Daimler-Benz was a partner with Chrysler and Dodge for a while). It seems that the Chrysler family learned a little from the German automaker. (And Daimler-Benz must have learned quite a bit from its American partner, also). It would appear that the Durango got the best of both worlds: Â all the class and elegance of a Mercedes and the rugged, brute strength of pioneering Americans.Â
