2021 Jeep Gladiator at Reedman-Toll Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
The Jeep Gladiator roared onto the scene last year and gave drivers a new option when it came to powerful pickups. In 2021, Jeep seeks to improve on perfection with the addition of a diesel engine. The all-new diesel is a 3.0-liter V6 capable of producing up to 260 horsepower and a remarkable 442 lb-ft of torque. This engine is perfect for off-roading and long trips and will never let you down in the power department. In addition to the new engine, the Gladiator has all the latest tech features and off-road equipment via its four trim levels. There is much more to talk about when it comes to the 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Continue reading as we go over all the details. Â

What are the Gladiator's engine options?
There are two engine options available for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator, and they both have an impressive amount of power. Standard on all trims is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The other engine is a diesel option, a 3.0-liter turbodiesel that makes 260 horses and an amazing 442 lb-ft of torque. The 3.6-liter V6 pairs nicely with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the turbodiesel gets the eight-speed automatic. Four-wheel-drive comes standard on all trims of the Jeep Gladiator.
What are some of the features?
There are four trim levels available for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator, and each comes with a bunch of standard features. Starting things off is the Sport, which has cruise control, a manually adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an eight-speaker audio system, and a 5-inch central display with voice control capability. You also get a soft folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield. Several sub-trims come with the Sport, including the Sport S, the Willys, and the 80th Anniversary Edition, which gives you more tech and luxury items. Moving up to the Overland provides you with even more goodies such as automatic headlights, power windows, heated power mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch central display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you're looking to take your Gladiator off-road, the Rubicon is one of the best off-road vehicles there is as it comes with a 4.10 rear axle ratio, 33-inch all-terrain tires, fenders with increased clearance, FOX shock absorbers, locking front and rear differentials, and body-protecting rock rails and skid plates. Last is the desert rated Mojave, which provides drivers with a reinforced frame, FOX internal bypass shock absorbers, and Desert Rated badge.
What can you tell me about the safety features?
Jeep is fully committed to keep you safe both on and off the road, which is why the Gladiator is available with various safety systems. Available is a Blind-Sport Monitoring System that scans the blind spot areas and helps you make safer lane changes. Also available is an Adaptive Cruise Control System, which helps the driver maintain a set distance between the Gladiator and vehicles ahead. The last system we will discuss is the Forward Collision Mitigation System, which will warn you of an impending crash and apply the brakes in certain situations.
