The 2019 Jeep Cherokee and the 2019 Toyota RAV4 are both amazing SUVs. But which one is right for you? These two SUVs have many similarities that are visible from the outside of the SUV. But what about the inside of the SUV? Let's take a look to see what these vehicles have to offer.

2019 Jeep Cherokee Power & Handling

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee comes with three options for engines. The first engine is a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine able to push out 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. The second engine is able to crank out 271 horsepower and 293 lb-ft of torque in a 3.2-liter V6 engine. The final engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine. This engine is able to produce 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. All of these engines come connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive. The 2019 Jeep Cherokee also has a 15.8-gallon fuel tank making this vehicle very fuel-efficient. This SUV is also able to tow between 2,000 and 4,500 pounds at a time.

2019 Toyota RAV4 Power & Handling

The Toyota RAV4 only comes with one option for an engine. The 2.5-liter inline-4 engine is able to push out 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel-drive and has a 14.5-gallon fuel tank, a bit smaller than the Jeep Cherokee. The Toyota RAV4 also falls short in the towing category, only able to tow between 1,500 and 1,750 pounds.

2019 Jeep Cherokee Features & Design

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee comes with many great features. Outside the car, customers first notice the black grille with chrome surrounding it. This makes the front of the car stand out while driving down the road. Inside the 2019 Jeep Cherokee, customers will find 128 cubic feet of passenger volume and enough seating for five. Leaving plenty of legroom for even the tallest passengers sitting in the back of the vehicle. There are also three power outlets around the inside of the SUV, giving off plenty of power to charge all of the devices that you may be bringing with you. Other notable features that are available are the park assist feature and the remote start feature. These come standard on the higher trims.

2019 Toyota RAV4 Features & Design

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 comes with some cool features. Inside, there's enough seating for five people and 99 cubic feet of passenger volume. This makes the back seat pretty cramped especially for passengers that are taller. Passengers will also notice that there only two power outlets as opposed to the Cherokee's three outlets. Other features that differ from the Cherokee are the park assist and remote start. While they're available on the Cherokee, they aren't available at all on the Toyota RAV4. Outside the 2019 Toyota RAV4, drivers will notice that the grille doesn't really stand out by being all black with the surround being the same color as the body of the SUV.

Conclusions

Overall, both of these SUVs are great options for anyone looking for a new vehicle. However, in terms of features, the Cherokee comes with much more than the RAV4. In terms of towing, the RAV4 doesn't come close to the Cherokee. Knowing this, the choice is clear. The 2019 Jeep Cherokee is the best SUV on the market today.
